Apraksts

  • Maintain secure, efficient data storage and processing in line with cloud security policies and industry best practices.
  • Safeguard application performance, availability, scalability, code quality, and sound technical design.
  • Investigate and remediate vulnerabilities and deployment problems across legacy and cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and administer cloud environments in accordance with security requirements.
  • Train teams and share guidance on cloud initiatives.
  • Optimize cloud consumption to balance performance with cost.
  • Evaluate existing technologies and support cloud transformation planning with the Platform Engineering team.
  • Resolve incidents, determine root causes, document issues, and apply preventive controls.
  • Create, maintain, and document infrastructure standards, guidelines, and guardrails for on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Design and deploy modular cloud systems.
  • Improve automation for consistency, compliance, large-scale execution, and lifecycle management.
  • Test and benchmark infrastructure solutions with vendors, then present results to architects and management.
  • Participate in vendor meetings and track technology roadmaps, security advisories, and fixes.
  • Refine architecture before, throughout, and after cloud migrations.
  • Hold vendors accountable for support quality, SLA performance, and root-cause analysis for escalated incidents.
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery compliance, including documented plans, testing, and reviews.
  • Follow firm policies and procedures covering change management and service continuity.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and within deadlines.
  • Develop effective working relationships with regional and global IT teams.
  • Serve as an escalation contact for IT Operations.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned or required.

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline; directly relevant education or experience may be accepted instead.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on private-cloud data-center experience with VMware, Cisco UCS, and Dell EMC.
  • Private-cloud networking experience with Cisco ACI, F5 load balancing, Palo Alto firewalls, and SD-WAN.
  • Working knowledge of information security best practices.
  • Experience automating integrations with public cloud providers.
  • Experience detecting cloud drift and misconfiguration and automating remediation workflows.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Migrate.
  • Previous involvement in on-premises-to-cloud transformation projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute in a diverse team while supporting demanding business requirements.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver against deadlines amid changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-directed approach with strong initiative.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Comfort working within Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management and structured operational practices.
  • High discretion and the ability to protect confidential information.
  • Willingness to join an on-call rotation and participate in global calls outside standard hours.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications and experience with global environments, Windows Server/Active Directory, Linux, PowerShell, Kubernetes, and Terraform are preferred.
