Assembly and Test Technician

Assemble, test, and inspect mechanical oilfield equipment at TechnipFMC, supporting factory acceptance tests and test documentation. The role also involves guiding assemblers and maintaining safe, compliant work practices.

Asamblers

Apraksts

  • Build and test mechanical assemblies to company specifications, using established procedures, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare test procedures before and after factory acceptance testing.
  • Complete test reports, failed test reports, and Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Address routine issues with familiar subassemblies and refer complex problems to senior staff.
  • Inspect finished oilfield equipment before release.
  • Prepare test procedures before and after factory acceptance testing.
  • Clean assembled components according to instructions and specifications.
  • Record labor in the Labor Tracking System for cost tracking.
  • Transport parts and assemblies with material handling equipment.
  • Work safely, keep the work area orderly, and report workplace hazards.
  • Guide other assemblers and teach appropriate methods and procedures.
  • Follow company, government, project, client, and contractor HSES requirements.

Prasības

  • At least 3–4 years of relevant experience in a mechanical role.
  • Preferably an SPM, certificate, or equivalent qualification.
  • Clear understanding of general mathematics.
  • Ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use a personal computer or workstation.
  • Ability to operate high- and low-pressure pumps, hydrostatic pumps, high-torque wrenches, overhead and jib cranes, forklifts, and rigging.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and measuring instruments such as height gauges, adjustable parallels, calipers, and pressure gauges.
