Accountant at Bragi (Munich, Hybrid)
Manage accounting operations for Bragi’s AI-powered audio business. Handle payables, reconciliations, month-end close and finance automation in Munich.

- Reconcile bank activity each day.
- Help replace manual statement uploads with automated bank feeds and rule-based transaction matching.
- Manage Accounts Payable end to end, from invoice intake and compliance checks to pre-accounting and SAP Business One posting, supporting straight-through processing.
- Administer the spend management and pre-accounting platform, including approval workflows, subscriptions, user access and its SAP interface.
- Oversee the corporate travel platform.
- Check employee travel claims against company policy and German expense rules, including per diems and input VAT.
- Record travel expenses accurately in SAP Business One.
- Track and reconcile outstanding supplier balances.
- Serve as the primary contact for supplier communications.
- Assist with month-end close, including General Ledger reconciliations and cash entries.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to refine workflows, find automation opportunities and deliver improvements.
- Ensure an accurate, on-time monthly close, daily bank reconciliations, more automated invoice processing, reconciled supplier balances and ongoing workflow improvements.
Prasības
- A completed degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
- Four to six years of substantial accounting experience.
- Strong command of German GAAP (HGB), German and intra-EU VAT (including reverse charge), and fixed asset accounting.
- Very good English skills.
- German language skills are an advantage.
- SAP Business One experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience using spend management and pre-accounting tools is an advantage.
- Experience with licensing, royalties or digital revenue models is strongly preferred, ideally at a growing technology or platform company.

- A sharp eye for inefficiencies and a tendency to simplify or automate processes.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
