Senior iOS Engineer, Swift and SwiftUI
Bring an Italian insurtech’s native iOS app to production using Swift, SwiftUI, and device integrations. Help establish the mobile team’s architecture, testing, and release practices.
Aprašymas
- Take the existing native iOS app through production in line with the product roadmap.
- Complete integration with the internal payment gateway.
- Build features using GPS, the accelerometer, CarPlay, and other system services.
- Manage app lifecycle and background execution reliably.
- Set conventions for the new mobile team with the Android engineer, including structure, testing, and code review.
- Own build and release pipelines using CI/CD, TestFlight, and the App Store.
- Help build the mobile team, with the opportunity to lead its domain.
Reikalavimai
- At least 7 years of native iOS development experience.
- Experience publishing and maintaining iOS apps in production.
- Strong command of Swift and SwiftUI.
- Solid architectural foundations, such as TCA, MVVM, MVC, or MVP.
- Experience personally defining an app’s architecture.
- Experience with Core Location, Core Motion, Core Data, background execution, and app lifecycle management.
- Experience on structured teams using DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git, GitHub, code review, and automated testing.
- Daily use of AI tools in an agentic workflow and the ability to critically review generated code.
- Hands-on approach with daily coding.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Milan.
