Power BI Developer, Analytics and Reporting
Part-time role developing Power BI and Microsoft Fabric analytics at Connection, an IT solutions provider. Build governed reports, semantic models, and secure dashboards.
Aprašymas
- Create and improve Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
- Develop and maintain semantic models, DAX measures, relationships, hierarchies, and calculation groups.
- Build reports with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, and Direct Lake datasets.
- Configure row-level and object-level security in line with Entra ID and workspace governance.
- Create certified datasets, reusable semantic models, and consistent reporting standards.
- Improve report performance, data refreshes, and capacity use.
- Apply sensitivity labels and oversee governed report distribution.
- Connect reporting solutions with Microsoft 365 and Teams when needed.
- Assist with deployment pipelines, source control, and lifecycle management.
- Keep report documentation, data dictionaries, and user guidance materials up to date.
Reikalavimai
- At least 6–8 years of application development experience, including hands-on BI analytics and Power BI development.
- Proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modeling.
- Experience with Power Query, dimensional modeling, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Direct Lake.
- Knowledge of row-level and object-level security and workspace governance.
- Experience with deployment pipelines, performance tuning, and certified datasets.
- Strong data visualization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
