Platform Engineer, Azure CI/CD – Neilson Financial Services (Sydney, Hybrid)
Lead Azure delivery pipelines at Neilson Financial Services, using GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and AI tools. This six-month fixed-term role supports the Dataworks engineering team.
Aprašymas
- Create and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Partner with Dataworks engineers to turn delivery needs into dependable, repeatable pipelines.
- Deploy workloads to Azure with Terraform or Bicep, including AKS when needed.
- Embed security scans, audit trails, and change controls in every pipeline.
- Use AI coding tools and agent workflows to accelerate development and migrations.
- Share feedback that helps improve AI coding tools and agent workflows.
- Document your work so the Dataworks team can maintain it after the contract ends.
- Manage pipeline work from start to finish as part of daily operations.
Reikalavimai
- At least four years in platform engineering, DevOps, or build and release engineering.
- Strong practical experience with at least two of GitLab, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Production Azure experience covering networking, Entra ID, and compute.
- Experience with Terraform or Bicep.
- Ability to script in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Practical use of AI coding agents or agent workflows in real delivery work.
- Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including branching, environment promotion, and change control.
- Full Australian work rights; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Desirable: data pipeline experience; experience in financial services or another regulated industry; Kubernetes and Helm skills; Azure certifications.
Privalumai
- Six-month fixed-term contract with goals set for the first 30 days, three months, and six months.
- Hybrid schedule with three days in central Sydney and two days working from home.
