Database Administrator — Atos, Rennes (Hybrid)
Keep Atos’s critical databases available, secure, and performing well. Work with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams in Rennes.

- Operate, administer, and maintain database environments.
- Maintain database platform availability, performance, and integrity.
- Support production deployments and business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
- Handle database backups, restores, and replication.
- Improve database performance through tuning.
- Review and optimize SQL queries to reduce response times.
- Automate recurring work with scripting tools.
- Create and update technical documentation and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with security, network, systems, and application teams.
- Take part in scheduled on-call rotations and out-of-hours support.
Reikalavimai
- University or engineering degree, equivalent to three to five years of higher education.
- Substantial experience in a similar role, preferably in complex settings, large enterprises, or the public sector.
- Hands-on administration of critical databases.
- Ability to work across multiple technology environments.
- Strong automation and industrialization capabilities.
- Excellent organization, independence, and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with MySQL or MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Vertica, and Dataiku.
- Experience with database backup and recovery, replication, installation, and administration.
- Database performance tuning and optimization skills.
- Ability to optimize SQL queries.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python.
- Database, Ansible, or GitLab CI certifications, and experience with large enterprises or the public sector, are advantageous.
