Support Expleo’s major defence infrastructure programme in Plymouth by reviewing civil and structural designs, resolving site queries, and helping deliver construction work.

- Provide civil engineering support to a major defence infrastructure programme in Plymouth
- Help deliver civil and structural designs during construction
- Coordinate between design teams, construction teams, and site stakeholders
- Examine civil and structural designs, drawings, and technical records
- Help put approved designs into practice during construction
- Assess and answer technical queries and requests for design clarification from site
- Coordinate with designers, construction teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Help identify and resolve design and construction issues
- Check construction documents, technical submissions, and inspection records
- Help assess inspection and test plans, method statements, and construction procedures
- Visit sites and provide technical support for construction work
- Help manage design changes and non-conformances
- Share construction feedback and lessons with the relevant design teams
- Follow engineering, safety, quality, and project governance processes
Reikalavimai
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Sound understanding of civil and structural engineering principles
- Able to assess engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents
- Able to understand and address technical queries raised from site
- Good knowledge of construction work and engineering implementation
- Communicates effectively with design, construction, and project stakeholders
- Able to spot technical issues and help resolve them
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills
- Works effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Practical, safety-conscious approach to engineering work
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete design and construction
- Understands inspection and test plans
- Familiarity with technical queries, change requests, and non-conformance procedures
- Understands construction method statements and temporary works
- Familiarity with design assurance, configuration control, or engineering governance
- Relevant postgraduate engineering experience
- Experience reviewing civil or structural engineering designs
- Practical site experience handling technical queries and design clarifications
- Experience supporting construction or design implementation
- Experience with concrete construction
- Experience working with designers, contractors, and other technical stakeholders
- Must be a sole British national
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required UK security clearance
- Able to work onsite in Plymouth two to three days per week
- Some assignments may require attendance at customer, secure, or classified sites
