Trade Compliance Data Specialist – Hybrid Bengaluru

Mouser Electronics is hiring a Trade Compliance Data Specialist in Bengaluru to classify electronic components and support import/export compliance. The role focuses on HTS and ECCN research, invoice audits, and accurate regulatory records.

Сипаттама

  • Research and collect technical product data from online sources, suppliers, spreadsheets, and internal databases to determine HTS and ECCN codes
  • Evaluate product descriptions and technical specifications against HTS schedules and approved compliance resources for import/export classification
  • Review and audit import/export invoices, investigating and reconciling discrepancies
  • Assign HTS codes and ECCNs to electronic products that are purchased and sold
  • Use Customs rulings, explanatory notes, and technical product drawings to establish classifications
  • Apply classification expertise across multiple Commerce Control List categories
  • Record classification codes in accordance with approved documentation standards
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain accurate import/export logistics and compliance records
  • Support classification research for audits and customs inquiries
  • Assess whether Participating Government Agency regulations apply to relevant HTS codes and ECCNs

Талаптар

  • Experience in electronic design, systems design, test engineering, or electronic component engineering
  • Experience with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, technical services, trade compliance analysis, HTS code assignment, and Export Control Classification Numbers
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or an equivalent discipline
  • Relevant experience may combine internal and external roles
  • Internal candidates must have achieved a minimum Highly Effective performance rating in their current role
