- Deliver technical accounting expertise across capital accounting, prepayments, and balance sheet management
- Maintain accurate, compliant financial reporting underpinned by effective controls
- Apply professional judgement when evaluating accounting treatments
- Guide colleagues on capitalisation and financial reporting requirements
- Maintain robust evidence and controls for financial transactions
- Assist with statutory accounts and year-end reporting
- Support audits and adherence to accounting and governance standards
- Work with stakeholders on financial reporting and informed decision-making
- Develop practical improvements to financial systems and reporting processes

- CCAB-qualified or equivalent, or part-qualified with substantial relevant accounting experience
- Experience supporting statutory reporting, audits, and compliance work
- Experience working with stakeholders on financial reporting, decision-making, and reporting needs
- Strong technical accounting expertise and ability to apply accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluating financial information and developing practical solutions
- Ability to explain technical financial matters clearly to finance and non-finance audiences
- Ability to build productive relationships and communicate financial information to varied stakeholders
- Good understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance
- Advanced IT literacy, including Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools
- Ability to spot and pursue process improvement opportunities
- Right to work in the UK
- Successful completion of employment history, criminal record, credit reference, and fraud checks
