Join RTX’s aerospace and defense team in Aguadilla for a hybrid structural engineering co-op focused on fatigue, fracture mechanics, data processing, and certification.

- Complete a Monday-to-Friday co-op from January through June while taking leave from coursework to participate fully in the mentored work experience.
- Learn to manage structural validation data.
- Process pre- and post-test data and assist with fatigue analysis.
- Build expertise in fatigue, fracture mechanics, and burst analysis.
- Use lifing systems and structural analysis tools to support safe, dependable designs.
- Support vibration, fatigue, and fracture mechanics work for Module Centers customers across new designs, engine development plans, and production or field issues.
- Build regulatory and military customer confidence in structural integrity through collaboration, communication, and reporting.
- Assist with product regulatory certification to address customer requirements.

- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens may access information covered by this program or contract.
- Must live in Puerto Rico when employment begins.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration, initiative, and innovation.
- Interest in learning and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace.
- Creative problem-solving ability and adaptability when addressing new business challenges.
