- Lead Blue Yonder WMS architecture for the Development & Support Services (DSS) team.
- Establish and govern technical standards, best practices, and roadmaps for WMS enhancements, migrations, and integrations.
- Advise DSS stakeholders by translating business priorities into effective technical execution.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical workshops.
- Ensure WMS architecture and development support customer objectives and DSS policies and standards.
- Recognize and develop future technical leaders across the engineering team.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery and provide technical direction to assigned engineers.
- Promote high-quality delivery while maintaining agreed timelines and effort.
- Contribute technical guidance and high-level estimates to presales work, including PRS responses and design workshops.
- Assess customer requirements and business goals to recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Contribute to solution design and formal design reviews.
- Plan and manage software releases, rollouts, and patches, including schedules, coordination, and release notes.
- Ensure code and documentation receive peer review, and track the resolution of review feedback.
- Assess emerging technologies, with particular focus on AI/ML, to improve delivery outcomes.
- Work with Data Science teams to bring AI/ML models into warehouse operations.
- Lead proofs of concept and scalable AI solutions that provide measurable ROI for WMS customers.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline such as MCA or an MSc in Computer Science.
- 12–15 years of total professional experience.
- Experience with ERP, Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or another WMS platform is advantageous.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, PL/SQL, and microservices.
- Experience writing Python scripts.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Experience using AI tools such as Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub, and Copilot.
- Strong experience with source-control platforms and tools, including GitHub and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line tools.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Experience tracking work through Kanban dashboards or similar systems.
- Experience leading software package delivery teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with code refactoring.
- In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools such as SQL Developer and SQL Management Studio.
- A professional certification such as TOGAF is an advantage.
