Senior Team Lead, Accounting and Controlling
Lead a team of accounting and controlling consultants at DONE!Financials, a German boutique finance-services consultancy. Guide client engagements, develop modern advisory services, and shape finance processes and tools.
Сипаттама
- Lead and manage a team of three to six consultants.
- Hold development conversations, give feedback, and support consultants’ growth.
- Help consultants deliver projects and take responsibility for critical project work.
- Act as the main client contact and explain complex financial data clearly.
- Manage a client engagement or project directly.
- Set standards and build quality checks, handovers, onboarding, and efficient workflows.
- Partner with the executive team on capacity, utilization, and future services.
- Provide final expertise on complex accounting issues, VAT law, and critical financial statements.
- Develop, test, and implement AI tools for finance.
Талаптар
- Hold an IHK Certified Accountant qualification, be a Tax Advisor, or have a comparable credential.
- Bring at least ten years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or controlling, including proven responsibility in a senior role.
- Have experience leading a team of at least three people.
- Have strong financial statement expertise, including end-to-end preparation of annual accounts under German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Know VAT law well.
- Have in-depth DATEV knowledge, especially Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen and Unternehmen online.
- IFRS experience is an advantage but is not required.
- Have worked in an accounting or tax practice, audit, consulting, or an in-house corporate role.
- Be willing to travel and work on-site regularly for team leadership, client meetings, and team activities.
- Have experience with AI-enabled or automated finance processes.
- Bring energy, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
