Senior Software Engineer - Irving, TX Onsite
Lead enterprise software development for Vizient’s healthcare solutions, spanning architecture, Agile delivery, cloud integration, and technical mentorship.

- Build, test, deploy, support, and maintain enterprise software applications
- Create solutions for complex initiatives across multiple technology domains and systems
- Lead story refinement, estimation, and backlog grooming for Agile delivery
- Guide feature-level architecture and design discussions
- Contribute to product architecture decisions and long-term technology strategy
- Partner with product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Recommend enhancements to engineering standards, development practices, and operational processes
- Evaluate emerging technologies and technical trends to improve solution delivery
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code reviews
- Support Agile practices such as continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including Project Ascension
Талаптар
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred
- At least five years of relevant professional experience is required
- Professional experience with SQL development, database design, query optimization, and DDL/DML operations is required
- Experience developing Java, C#, or .NET applications with Spring Boot, Spring Java, Spring MVC, JPA, or comparable technologies is required
- Experience building front-end applications with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular, is required
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and integrated application architectures is required
- EDI or document integration experience with Boomi or Axway is highly preferred; Sterling or Mulesoft experience is preferred
- Experience with Agile delivery, TDD, CI/CD, and effective use of Copilot or AI-assisted development is preferred
- Experience working in Agile environments with continuous integration, automated testing, and modern engineering practices is preferred
- Experience developing distributed software at enterprise scale is preferred
- Cloud technology experience is required, with Microsoft Azure preferred
