Senior Raw Materials Category Manager, IFF — Mexico City Hybrid
Lead strategic raw materials sourcing across Latin America for IFF, a global flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, and biosciences company. Negotiate with suppliers and strengthen competitiveness, innovation, and supply security.

- Shape and deliver LATAM sourcing strategies for raw materials, including agricultural crops, grains and sweeteners, hydrocolloids, savory ingredients, and related categories.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements to secure value and continuity of supply.
- Advance productivity, competitiveness, and business growth through strategic sourcing.
- Assess and introduce alternative materials and suppliers that support innovation and operational efficiency.
- Build supplier partnerships that improve performance, innovation, and long-term value.
- Track market developments, cost drivers, supply risks, and industry trends to guide sourcing decisions.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to match procurement plans to business priorities.
- Lead supplier development and qualification to broaden sourcing options and reduce risk.
- Support regional and global procurement programs that strengthen category results and competitive advantage.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, chemical engineering, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- Background managing raw material categories in food ingredients, flavors, fragrances, chemicals, consumer goods, or a comparable industry.
- Strong strategic sourcing and category management skills.
- Experience leading complex supplier and commercial negotiations.
- Business judgment to connect sourcing choices with wider organizational goals.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Experience working across countries in a regional or multinational setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
- Portuguese language skills.
- Experience in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, or a closely related manufacturing sector.
- A practical problem-solving approach and agility in a changing business environment.
