- Lead planning and delivery of United Way of Greater Los Angeles signature events, including WalkUnitedLA.
- Produce activations that engage donors and the community.
- Coordinate logistics and on-site delivery for donor events led by the Development team.
- Develop event work plans, timelines, budgets, staffing plans, checklists, and run-of-show documents.
- Apply event branding and messaging to signage, materials, and scripts.
- Create sponsorship materials and benefit packages for multiple sponsorship tiers.
- Deliver sponsor and partner visibility activations and monitor fulfillment commitments.
- Maintain the annual calendar of donor, corporate, employee, and community events.
- Manage event staff, vendors, contracts, budgets, and schedules.
- Work with Development, Marketing, and Program teams on event delivery.
- Coordinate promotions, event materials, digital campaigns, media opportunities, and post-event content.
- Monitor attendance, budgets, sponsor fulfillment, attendee feedback, and fundraising conversions.
- Use event results and debriefs to recommend improvements.
- Lead production of WalkUnitedLA 2027 toward a net revenue target of $500,000.

- High school diploma or GED.
- At least five years of relevant experience leading production for large-scale participatory events.
- Experience serving as the event lead for a mass-participation event with more than 1,000 attendees.
- Availability to work from the Downtown Los Angeles office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus additional days as needed.
- Commitment to ongoing learning about racial equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Interest in applying emerging technology and artificial intelligence.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours and travel throughout Los Angeles County as needed.
- Strong event production skills.
- Skills in project management and developing project work plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
