- Lead modernization of SQL Server environments and AWS database architecture
- Manage Phase One SQL Server modernization initiatives
- Investigate and resolve complex OLTP-to-OLAP replication designs
- Architect and implement Multi-AZ and multi-region SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery
- Assess T-SQL code and database objects for migration readiness
- Create migration plans with AWS Database Migration Service and Schema Conversion Tool
- Prepare SQL Server databases for a future transition to Aurora PostgreSQL
- Partner with infrastructure, application, and data teams on database architecture
Талаптар
- Extensive experience architecting SQL Server on EC2 and/or RDS SQL Server
- Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Experience migrating SQL Server databases to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
- Practical experience with AWS Database Migration Service and Schema Conversion Tool
- Strong T-SQL skills, including stored procedure analysis and database object migration
- Experience designing Multi-AZ Availability Groups and multi-region SQL Server architectures
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code practices
- Strong knowledge of OLTP and OLAP replication and database-to-application integration
- PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL experience is desirable
- Amazon Redshift experience is desirable
- Kinesis Firehose experience is desirable
- Amazon EKS experience is desirable
- Additional experience integrating databases with applications
