Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake (Hybrid, Ho Chi Minh City)
Senior Data Engineer responsible for Snowflake data platforms and ETL pipelines at Ekino, a digital transformation consultancy. The role focuses on strengthening data governance, security, performance, and platform reliability.

- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud data platforms
- Architect and administer data warehouse environments, including databases, schemas, roles, and data-sharing capabilities
- Create and refine data models
- Implement data governance, security, and data quality frameworks
- Develop and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Connect data from enterprise applications, APIs, SaaS products, and third-party providers
- Improve warehouse performance, query execution, and storage efficiency
- Apply standards for data partitioning, clustering, caching, and workload management
- Set and uphold security controls, access policies, and compliance requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into scalable data solutions
- Monitor, diagnose, and continually improve data platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a comparable field
- At least three years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related discipline
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles
- Practical experience with Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development
- Advanced understanding of data governance and data security practices
- Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and transformation logic
- Intermediate-level English or higher and effective Vietnamese communication
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- SnowPro Core, SnowPro Specialty, or SnowPro Advanced certification is preferred
