Senior Civil Engineer, Stormwater and Flood Protection
Lead stormwater, drainage, and water and wastewater infrastructure design projects for Arcadis. Prepare engineering deliverables, secure permits, and mentor design staff.

- Support municipal drainage and water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the Water sector
- Create concept plans, detailed designs, and construction specifications
- Direct design teams producing engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and contract specifications
- Follow applicable federal, state, regional, and municipal agency standards
- Manage construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Serve as a design lead, QA/QC reviewer, or technical advisor
- Manage local and state permitting processes to secure regulatory approvals
- Supervise team members and develop junior staff through mentoring
- Collaborate with clients to define needs, develop solutions, and strengthen target-client relationships
- Complete hydraulic design, project layouts, geometrics, survey control, grading and drainage design, and subsurface utility coordination and relocation
Талаптар
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools for drainage and water-systems design
- Experience working with clients and building professional contacts and relationships
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule while managing multiple projects
