Senior Bilingual Treasury Manager – Toronto Hybrid
Lead treasury, client trust accounts, and accounts payable operations for McCarthy Tétrault, a Canadian law firm. Manage a finance team while improving nationwide financial processes and controls.

- Direct daily cash management, banking partnerships, and liquidity planning
- Lead cash-flow forecasting and debt oversight
- Maintain compliance with treasury policies and internal control requirements
- Serve as an authorized signatory for operating accounts
- Oversee bank accounts, banking platforms, and the corporate credit card program
- Direct the administration and reconciliation of client trust accounts
- Create and maintain trust-account policies and procedures
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and clients
- Handle audits, inquiries, and quarterly and annual reporting obligations
- Supervise accounts payable operations, including invoices, expense claims, and payments
- Track and enhance operational efficiency, internal controls, and compliance
- Administer the Concur Solutions platform
- Manage, coach, and develop the finance team
- Drive process automation and operational improvements
- Prepare and deliver reports for executive and management committees
- Partner with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Provide responsive financial support to lawyers and staff
Талаптар
- A university degree and accounting designation, such as a CPA or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience, including 5 or more years supervising or managing teams in professional services, ideally in the legal sector
- Familiarity with legal finance systems such as Aderant, Elite, or comparable platforms is preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of automation tools and digital payment platforms is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in a national or multi-office law firm is preferred
- Fluency in both French and English
- Ability to handle and follow up on inquiries from clients and third parties who communicate exclusively in English
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across offices throughout Canada
