Senior Backend Engineer, Java/Go (Taiwan Remote)
Build and scale Java and Go backend systems for Binance’s global Social products. Improve distributed-system performance, reliability, governance, and AI-assisted engineering practices.

- Build, enhance, and maintain core backend services supporting Social products
- Raise system performance, resilience, availability, and overall engineering quality
- Partner with product, operations, algorithm, and client engineering teams to align technical delivery with product and operational objectives
- Convert complex business needs into clear, reusable, and scalable platform capabilities
- Strengthen service governance, data pipelines, observability, incident response, and developer productivity
- Anticipate technical constraints as the business grows and lead medium- and long-term technical planning
- Apply AI-assisted development across requirements analysis, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery while exploring effective human–AI collaboration
- Contribute to architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering capability development to improve software quality continuously

- Strong proficiency in Java or Go, supported by sound computer science knowledge and software engineering practice
- Practical expertise in distributed systems, microservices, message queues, caching, databases, and service governance
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop large-scale online systems with high concurrency and availability
- Sound technical decision-making and business awareness, including the ability to weigh user experience, business impact, and engineering cost
- A delivery-focused approach with strong problem-solving and cross-functional execution abilities
- Experience using AI-enabled coding and development tools, with the judgment to preserve code quality, security, and maintainability
- Preferred: Background in social platforms, content communities, instant messaging, recommendation systems, or user growth
- Preferred: Experience developing feeds, comments, social interactions, social graphs, messaging, or real-time communication systems
- Preferred: Experience working on global internet products at scale or cross-region systems
- Preferred: Experience with complex architectures, technical roadmaps, or collaboration across functions
