Own system-level integration for microgrid electrical designs spanning PV, BESS, generation, and distribution assets
Produce detailed electrical design packages, including one-line and three-line diagrams, equipment specifications, protection and coordination studies, and interconnection designs
Combine medium- and low-voltage distribution with generation and storage while meeting utility interconnection requirements and applicable codes and standards
Coordinate protection schemes and controls/SCADA interface requirements across vendors and engineering disciplines
Review EPC and OEM technical deliverables for alignment with client standards and project performance requirements
Work with clients, EPC contractors, and equipment vendors to resolve design issues and support constructable solutions
Assist with permitting, interconnection applications, and utility coordination
Contribute to or lead multidisciplinary design reviews for microgrid and distributed energy resource projects

Талаптар

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program, focused on power systems
4–8 years of experience delivering detailed electrical designs and system integration for microgrid, distribution, generation, or storage projects
Demonstrated ability to design and integrate multiple distributed energy resources, including PV, BESS, and generators, within one electrical system
Experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, protection coordination, and interconnection design
Working knowledge of controls and SCADA interfaces relevant to electrical system design
Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain licensure preferred
Electrical design experience with VRFB, lithium-ion, or other BESS technologies preferred
Familiarity with integrating reciprocating engine or turbine generators preferred
Previous Engineer of Record responsibility on at least one completed microgrid or DER project preferred
Experience with utility interconnection standards and processes preferred
