Remote Cardiology ATTR Clinical Consultant (NP, PA, RN)
A cardiology NP, PA, or RN reviews charts and labels cases of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis. Apply clinical reasoning to help improve Mercor’s AI healthcare models.

- Assess patient charts for the likelihood of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis, including cases with incomplete information.
- Identify relevant clinical signals from patient histories and diagnostic findings, including PYP scans.
- Record clear reasoning supported by clinical evidence.
- Differentiate ATTR from similar conditions.
- Apply labeling standards consistently.
- Update assessments in response to new evidence and AI model feedback.
- Explain clinical decisions to technical teams.
- Complete labeling work by set deadlines.
- Help improve an AI model that identifies patients likely to have transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis.
- Label patient cases and apply evidence-based clinical reasoning.

- Qualified as an NP, RN, or PA.
- At least five years of cardiology-focused experience.
- One to three years of experience in a heart failure or ATTR-specific clinic.
- Hands-on experience evaluating or managing suspected or confirmed ATTR cardiomyopathy.
- Experience with PYP scans, as appropriate to professional scope.
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Ability to explain decisions using clear, structured criteria.
- Availability for 10–20 hours per week alongside clinical practice.
- Must be a US-based clinician.
- Engagement is as an independent contractor.
- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported.
- Preferred: experience at an amyloidosis center of excellence or cardiomyopathy clinic.
- Preferred: contributions to ATTR-related research or publications.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML teams, clinical decision-support systems, or clinical chart abstraction and labeling.
