  • Oversee quality assurance for technical deliverables, including final reports, assessments, test plans, and analytical products
  • Review submissions for technical accuracy, analytical rigor, clear writing, formatting, and alignment with Government requirements
  • Create and maintain quality checklists, style guides, and standardized review procedures
  • Monitor quality trends and systemic issues, then implement corrective actions
  • Report deliverable metrics and performance indicators to program leaders and Government stakeholders
  • Develop scalable quality management processes
  • Set and enforce technical writing standards, formatting rules, and quality benchmarks
  • Design pre-submission workflows that balance review depth with production efficiency
  • Maintain templates, exemplars, and best-practice reference guides
  • Partner with the Technical Assurance Manager and Technical Writer to shorten review cycles and reduce rework
  • Coordinate analysts, subject matter experts, and quality reviewers across the deliverable lifecycle
  • Coach and provide constructive feedback to technical personnel
  • Lead lessons-learned sessions following deliverable submissions
  • Develop working relationships with Government Project Officers, CORs, and evaluation personnel
  • Assess quality risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Manage production schedules to protect sufficient time for quality reviews
  • Resolve quality issues and escalate systemic concerns
  • Prepare contingency plans for high-volume workloads, compressed schedules, and limited resources
  • Monitor Government deliverable ratings and performance trends
  • Prepare monthly quality performance reports
  • Investigate root causes of quality deficiencies and measure corrective-action effectiveness
  • Maintain records of quality processes, review results, and improvement initiatives

  • Eight years of relevant progressive experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, six years with a related master’s degree, or a high school diploma or equivalent plus 12 years of relevant progressive experience
  • At least five years managing quality assurance teams, technical editing, and deliverable management for Government contracts
  • Experience managing quality processes for technical reports, assessments, or analytical products
  • Demonstrated success improving deliverable quality in a DoD or Federal contracting environment
  • Expertise in technical writing principles, style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style and AP, and Government documentation standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, plus Adobe Acrobat and collaboration platforms
  • Experience with quality management systems, document control, and configuration management
  • Strong analytical ability to identify patterns, trends, and systemic issues in quality data
  • Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing technical accuracy, logical consistency, and presentation
  • Strong project management skills for coordinating multiple reviews under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including diplomatic delivery of constructive feedback
  • Process-focused approach with experience designing, implementing, and enforcing quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective corrective-action implementation
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Preferred: Professional quality management certification, such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager or Six Sigma
  • Preferred: Experience with DoD test and evaluation, operational assessments, or technical analysis
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CDRL requirements, DID specifications, and Government contract deliverable standards
  • Preferred: Experience managing quality for more than 30 deliverables annually
  • Preferred: Background in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related technical field
  • Preferred: Experience implementing process improvements that produced measurable quality gains
