Python Software Engineer
Build backend and Vue.js features for Checkmk’s hybrid IT monitoring platform, working with agile product teams to develop and improve the product.

- Advance Checkmk’s monitoring solution.
- Help deliver upcoming product releases.
- Work closely with UX, QA, Security, Product Management, and other development teams.
- Use Python, Jenkins, Pylint, Gerrit, Git, and Pytest to maintain the platform and support a smooth customer experience.
- Develop frontend features with Vue.js.
- Take part in two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
- Suggest ideas and approaches for new features and product improvements.

- 2–5 years of experience in Python backend development.
- Good working knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Vue.js or React is preferred; alternatively, a willingness to learn and work with Vue.js and frontend development.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development, particularly Claude Code, to improve development workflow efficiency.
- Business-fluent written and spoken English.
