  • Support technical operations for federal client systems
  • Sustain Web/Oracle architecture hosted in AWS on a daily basis
  • Administer databases and server configurations across database servers, Cloud One, and other approved hosting environments
  • Maintain configurations for systems that use third-party software
  • Track and update TCNOs and applicable NOTAMs associated with database support
  • Coordinate firewall access for mainframe and server connectivity
  • Align release schedules with the PMO and partner teams
  • Deploy new maintenance releases for client applications
  • Investigate and resolve system anomalies
  • Develop database strategies and improve monitoring, performance, and capacity
  • Anticipate and plan for future database needs
  • Maintain compliance with DISA STIG requirements
  • Assemble software release packages for COTS migrations
  • Update database structures in line with approved software changes
  • Keep the schemas, processes, and subprocesses needed for Propulsion Actuarial Client Server reports available, current, and operational
  • Coordinate backups, validate restored data for accuracy and completeness, and support restoration activities
  • Configure databases for CV&I, QT&E, performance, user-acceptance, and regression testing
  • Assist audit compliance reviews by responding to data calls and PBC requests
  • Create Infrastructure as Code scripts for database-focused solutions

Талаптар

  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Clearance
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, though additional experience may substitute
  • At least three years of Oracle DBA and infrastructure software development experience
  • At least one year managing databases in an AWS Cloud environment using RDS
  • At least three years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
  • Experience implementing Oracle database replication
  • Security+ CE or CCNA Security certification
  • An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or OCI technologies and utilities
  • Oracle Certified Professional certification for version 11g or later is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • DevSecOps experience
  • AWS Cloud One or AWS GovCloud experience is preferred
