Mid-Level Hybrid Business Analyst – Ohio IT Projects
Support State of Ohio IT projects through requirements analysis, solution validation, testing, and stakeholder collaboration. Mentor junior analysts while helping improve business processes.

- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions
- Produce business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Maintain clear, complete, and traceable requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Partner with architects and developers to align solutions with business objectives
- Develop test cases, validate functionality, and coordinate user acceptance testing
- Assess gaps, risks, and dependencies, then recommend mitigation approaches
- Act as the primary business-unit contact during project delivery
- Lead workshops, product demonstrations, and status meetings
- Adapt communication for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation
- Coach junior Business Analysts and share established practices
- Support documentation and standards for requirements management, including templates

- Current residence in Ohio
- Mid-level experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable tools
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Agile delivery experience preferred
- SQL knowledge preferred
- Background in requirements analysis and documentation
- Experience with solution design and validation
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Experience in process improvement and mentoring
