  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate metrics across training and workforce datasets.
  • Design clear Power BI visualizations using effective layout, labeling, and user-experience practices.
  • Create basic DAX calculations and measures.
  • Use established semantic models and data structures, applying filters, relationships, and visual-level transformations.
  • Follow approved Power BI templates, visual design standards, and branding requirements.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces through publishing, version control, documentation, and basic access administration.
  • Record dashboard and report details, including purpose, audience, data sources, refresh schedules, and change history.
  • Help verify that dashboards comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Assist with paginated reports by configuring layouts, dataset connections, and parameters.
  • Gather stakeholder reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data visualization quality checks and validation.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing by testing visuals, recording defects, and confirming fixes.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting support through rapid visualizations and summaries.

Талаптар

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • One to three years of Power BI experience, including dashboard development and introductory data modeling.
  • Foundational knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and the ability to communicate analytical results clearly.
  • Ability to learn and follow federal data governance, reporting, and accessibility standards.
  • High attention to detail and a consistent focus on accurate, high-quality analytical work.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or semantic data models.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility guidance.
  • Experience supporting user testing, quality assurance, or iterative dashboard enhancements.
  • Exposure to large datasets or enterprise reporting environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and services, including Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
