Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (Hybrid, New Zealand)
Monitor and investigate cybersecurity threats while delivering clear, actionable findings for DEFEND’s cyber resilience services. This hybrid position supports customers across New Zealand.

- Provide security services through effective collaboration and communication with internal teams and stakeholders
- Monitor security events and alerts to detect potential threats
- Triage, investigate, and analyse security alerts to determine severity and impact
- Escalate incidents when required and assess the scope of threats to establish exposure
- Analyse impacts, document findings, and correlate threat intelligence into actionable insights
- Prepare, review, and summarise customer reports for accuracy and clarity
- Respond promptly to threats while following and recording appropriate remediation procedures
- Join a 24/7 on-call rotation to support rapid response and service continuity during critical incidents
- Keep comprehensive records of security monitoring and incident response activities
