Oversee compliance risk for assigned business units and functions
Carry out risk-management activities aligned with Truist’s Compliance Risk Management Policy and Framework
Stay current on applicable laws, rules, and regulations while providing regulatory guidance
Evaluate regulatory changes and determine their effects on assigned business units and functions
Coordinate compliance communications, training, documentation, procedures, and processes
Track and share developments across the compliance risk management industry
Apply framework strategies and methods, including quality reviews, risk and performance metrics, oversight monitoring, and mitigation planning
Review processes, procedures, controls, and related compliance records for accuracy and clarity
Partner with business and functional teams to design and implement remediation efforts

Талаптар

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
At least two years of compliance-related experience
At least five years of experience in a financial institution
Working knowledge of compliance principles, practices, policies, and applicable state and federal laws
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to work with stakeholders at every level of management
Leadership ability to coach and support less experienced compliance consultants and analysts
Fluency in English
Master’s degree preferred
Five years of financial services experience in audit or compliance preferred
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
Completion of American Bankers Association Compliance School or CRCM certification preferred
