- Promote OBI programs across digital and print channels, including social media, its website and blog, presentations, marketing materials, and newsletters.
- Plan and manage the quarterly editorial cycle, from content research and writing through distribution.
- Turn complex information into clear, accurate, engaging content for varied audiences.
- Track traditional and social media coverage and report on reach, engagement, and impact.
- Help deliver media relations activity by drafting press releases, coordinating outreach and distribution, managing logistics, and reporting outcomes.
- Coordinate communications work with external agencies and vendors.
- Work with internal teams on public relations, in-person and virtual events, government relations, fundraising, and internal communications and marketing.
- Oversee multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.

- At least 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in corporate communications and/or public relations.
- A relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent education.
- Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead communications projects from initial concept through delivery.
- Collaborative working style and ability to serve varied audiences while balancing competing priorities.
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or other blogging platforms, social media management tools, media monitoring systems, and e-newsletter platforms.
- Experience creating simple graphics and designs for digital, print, and social media using design software.
- Understanding of responsible and ethical AI use to support content production and workflows.
- Knowledge of, or genuine curiosity about, brain research and brain health.
- Knowledge of AODA compliance.
- Fluency in spoken and written French is an asset.
- Experience in the not-for-profit or charitable sector is an asset.
