Business Analyst and Product Owner, Financial Experience
Shape accounting and finance workflows into roadmaps for HR and ERP platforms. Work with client experts and cross-functional teams to guide delivery at Spyrosoft.

- Partner with subject matter experts to scope upcoming implementation phases.
- Turn business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria with the technical team.
- Align day-to-day work with the client’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Coordinate with the client, developers, UX/UI, QA, and the Scrum Master or project manager.
- Review completed work and accept or reject it against the agreed criteria.
- Support testing to check that features meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.
- Use Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) to introduce new domains and implementation phases as a shared team practice.
- Report delivery outcomes to stakeholders and keep progress against the roadmap visible.
- Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and demos.
- Track dependencies and reduce delivery risks.
- Use data, feedback, and KPIs to guide product improvements in partnership with the client.

- At least 2 years in a Product Owner role, or 3–5 years in a comparable Business Analyst or Product Owner position in a Scrum environment.
- Experience delivering complex IT or software products in accounting or finance.
- Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum practices and the full product development lifecycle.
- Experience working with cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Ability to balance business priorities, technical constraints, and user needs.
- Experience collaborating with multiple subject matter experts, such as accountants, finance controllers, and auditors.
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
- Experience with payment preparation, processing, validation, and execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build alignment among diverse stakeholders and drive decisions that enable the next actionable work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to define and communicate product requirements and decisions clearly.
- Experience writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria and creating product documentation.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making, including the ability to reduce scope and make decisions under uncertainty.
- Ability to work independently while keeping work transparent.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Miro.
- Proficiency with AI.
- Familiarity with UX principles.
- Understanding of API-based systems and integrations in ERP ecosystems.
- A data-driven approach.
- CBAP, PSPO, or an equivalent professional certification.
