Accounting Analyst at Zoe Consulting (Full-Time, Remote Brazil)
Remote accounting role supporting specialized bookkeeping for Brazilian law firms. The position covers reconciliations, month-end close, financial statements, and ancillary compliance obligations.

- Classify accounts, perform reconciliations, and maintain bookkeeping records
- Reconcile bank accounts and analyze financial transactions
- Import, review, and process accounting data
- Coordinate Tax and Payroll inputs with the Accounting department
- Analyze and close trial balances
- Prepare and review balance sheets and income statements
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Organize and track requirements for the month-end close
- Support preparation and filing of ancillary tax and regulatory obligations
- Support the calculation and documentation of profit distributions
- Keep accounting records accurate, organized, and current
- Meet monthly closing deadlines and follow internal procedures
- Resolve issues, develop solutions, and manage responsibility for a client portfolio

- Completed or in-progress degree in Accounting
- Understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures
- Understanding of accounting classification and reconciliation
- Strong analytical ability with careful attention to detail
- Well-organized and dependable in meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Clear communicator who works effectively with others
- Proactive, committed to learning, and focused on continued professional development
- Active CRC registration
- Familiarity with Domínio accounting software is advantageous
- Experience with companies using Brazil’s Simples Nacional or Presumed Profit tax regimes is advantageous
- Experience working with service-provider companies is advantageous
- Knowledge of financial statements and profit distributions is advantageous
