- Direct UX planning, design, and development for devices, tools, and systems
- Define consistent interaction conventions
- Support the collection of user requirements
- Develop user experience concepts and mockups
- Contribute to trade-off decisions with developers and subject-matter experts
- Evaluate available toolsets
- Produce screen mockups
- Help customers envision emerging interaction methods and technologies
- Use visualization and screen design expertise to deliver effective user experiences
Requirements
- At least 10 years of User Experience Design experience
- At least 5 years within the past 10 years leading design across the project life cycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four additional years of User Experience Design experience on comparable projects may replace the bachelor’s degree
- U.S. citizenship is required
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required
- Experience leading UX planning, design, and development activities
- Experience defining interaction conventions, collecting user requirements, creating UX mockups, and contributing to design trade-offs
- Experience evaluating toolsets and producing screen mockups
- Experience applying visualization and screen design techniques
