TRIMEDX Imaging Engineer III - Springfield, IL (Onsite)
Maintain and restore MRI, CT, and other hospital imaging systems at TRIMEDX’s Springfield site. Lead vendors, support scan safety and accuracy, and mentor imaging service teams.
Description
- Troubleshoot and restore MRI, CT, and other critical hospital imaging equipment
- Coordinate vendors and provide technical team leadership
- Partner with physicists and follow applicable regulations to support safe, accurate scans
- Mentor colleagues and improve imaging support practices across the site
- Build effective working relationships with clinicians
- Uphold rigorous documentation, processes, and technical standards
Requirements
- At least five years of experience repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing medical imaging equipment
- An associate degree in electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience; this requirement may be waived with TRIMEDX certification or a similar credential
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering technology is preferred
- Proficiency with computer diagnostics, basic networking, and Excel
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
