Technical Architect, Dynamics 365 and Azure
Design enterprise Azure and Dynamics 365 solutions at Columbus, a global digital consultancy. Lead architecture, integrations and customer-facing delivery.
Description
- Design and deliver enterprise solutions across Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Set technical architecture direction across the broader Microsoft technology stack.
- Pair strategic planning with hands-on technical leadership.
- Shape end-to-end solutions with customers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
- Guide delivery teams and assess solution designs.
- Create Azure application and integration architectures.
- Run customer workshops and explain complex technical concepts.
- Engage senior stakeholders and contribute to customer success.
- Travel to client sites or Columbus offices when needed.
- Attend planned onsite consultancy work, with occasional overnight stays based on project needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Strong architecture and technical leadership background, including guiding delivery teams and assessing solution designs.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Service Bus, API Management, Functions, Logic Apps and App Services.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of identity, security, networking and non-functional requirements for Azure solutions.
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and core business processes such as finance, order management, inventory, warehousing and production.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 FSCM integration methods, including OData, data entities, DMF and business events.
- Substantial customer-facing experience in consulting, partnerships or professional services.
- Able to explain complex technical topics, lead workshops and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a pragmatic and commercially aware approach.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to travel and adapt working hours.
- Curiosity and readiness to question existing approaches and drive improvement.
- Able to collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the organization.
- Commitment to professional growth and developing as a Trusted Advisor.
