Description

  • Own the design, development, and delivery of scalable software for the Cost Estimation and Navigation AI portfolio.
  • Shape architecture and technical direction across distributed services, APIs, and platform components.
  • Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to turn business priorities into production-ready solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for complex initiatives, including implementation decisions, dependency management, and engineering tradeoffs.
  • Build and improve cloud-native applications, microservices, and APIs.
  • Establish and uphold non-functional standards for performance, availability, failover, scalability, and security.
  • Assess architectures and recommend changes that improve reliability, operability, flexibility, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead proofs of concept and technical investigations into emerging technologies, including AI and GenAI.
  • Use data and analytics technologies such as orchestration, non-relational databases, caching, and large-scale service integration patterns.
  • Develop engineers through mentoring, design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams and organizational boundaries.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security obligations, including the secure handling of PII and PHI.

Requirements

  • At least seven years delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems environments.
  • At least five years of professional programming experience with languages such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • At least five years designing, building, and operating cloud-based enterprise solutions.
  • At least five years developing modern microservices and scalable, cost-effective APIs.
  • At least three years working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • At least three years using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AI or GenAI platforms and integrating intelligent capabilities into software products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience through a high school diploma and four years of relevant work.
