Senior Video Editor — United States Remote

Tradeify is hiring a Senior Video Editor to produce ads, promotional content, and explainers for its futures trading audience. The role leads post-production, motion design, creative testing, and multi-format video delivery.

Description

  • Edit and deliver performance-focused advertising for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and X
  • Develop varied ad concepts with compelling hooks, efficient pacing, and testing objectives
  • Produce promotional videos for launches, campaigns, partnerships, and brand initiatives
  • Create clear explainer videos covering trading products, rules, and platform functionality
  • Blend AI-generated material, live footage, and screen recordings into polished edits
  • Enhance videos with motion graphics, animated typography, interface treatments, sound design, and color finishing
  • Resize and reformat content for 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9 placements
  • Produce alternate cuts and versions from a single master edit
  • Use hook rate, hold rate, click-through rate, and conversion data to inform future work
  • Protect brand consistency while developing reusable templates, assets, and organized project libraries
  • Partner with marketing, performance, design, social, product, support, and compliance teams
  • Verify that video content is accurate, consistent, and appropriately disclosed
  • Guide junior editors and freelance contributors
  • Help define Tradeify’s video quality benchmarks and creative standards

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional video editing experience
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality advertising, promotional, and explainer video work
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve with strong motion design capability
  • Demonstrated success creating effective ad creative, with the ability to explain its performance
  • Strong storytelling judgment
  • Advanced command of pacing, typography, sound design, and music selection
  • Ability to translate finance, trading, and software concepts into clear, engaging visuals
  • Understanding of financial marketing requirements, including risk disclosures and the avoidance of profit guarantees
  • Ability to work independently, manage concurrent projects, and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative attitude with a willingness to incorporate feedback through revisions
  • Videography or cinematography experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with AI video and audio tools such as Higgsfield, Seedance, and ElevenLabs is advantageous
  • Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, or financial services is advantageous
  • 2D or 3D animation experience with Cinema 4D or Blender, or experience with Figma-to-motion workflows, is advantageous
  • Experience producing creator-led, UGC-style, and short-form social content is advantageous
