Senior Solution Design Consultant – ECOM (Onsite, Vietnam)
Shape the architecture of NAB Vietnam’s Customer Onboarding and Mastering platform. Design secure, scalable microservices and cloud solutions across customer data domains.
Description
- Convert complex business needs into secure, scalable, maintainable architectures for the Customer Onboarding and Mastering platform.
- Design enterprise solutions spanning Customer Onboarding, Customer Mastering, Identity Verification, Customer Data Refresh, and Corporate & Institutional transformation.
- Produce detailed design artifacts, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation for delivery teams.
- Assess effects across the COM ecosystem through systems-thinking and design-thinking approaches.
- Build proof-of-concepts to test architectural choices and reduce implementation risk.
- Explain technical concepts and design decisions to technology, engineering, product, testing, and executive stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted adviser connecting business objectives with technical solutions.
- Create reusable, extensible designs that improve consistency and delivery efficiency.
- Contribute strategic guidance on architecture, technical debt, and platform evolution.
- Help ensure COM platform investments deliver business value while preserving architectural integrity and enabling future growth and innovation.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in application design and/or development.
- At least 15 years of experience in technology overall.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication abilities.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, including designing and architecting microservices in complex environments.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, automated testing, AWS cloud, APIs, and microservices.
- Strong solution-engineering skills with Java and JavaScript frameworks, particularly Node.js or React.js.
- Excellent documentation skills and strong spoken and written English.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing large-scale systems.
- Substantial experience with AWS or Azure cloud services is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting production services in a DevOps-oriented environment.
- Experience with design tools, service integration, and application security.
- Banking-domain knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is advantageous.
- AWS or Azure certification is advantageous.
