Description

  • Deliver product features from specification through production release
  • Own correctness, performance, security, and user experience across the product lifecycle
  • Create specifications and acceptance criteria for coding agents
  • Direct coding agents, rigorously review their output, and refine implementations
  • Test and fully understand software before merging it
  • Advance agentic workflows and share feedback with the Applied AI team
  • Develop knowledge of permitting, licensing, plan review, inspections, and municipal regulations
  • Turn customer conversations into thoroughly tested production features
  • Drive durable improvements to engineering pod practices

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience shipping production web applications as a software developer
  • Strong foundations in API design, data modeling, testing, and cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience building with coding agents and AI-assisted development tools
  • Production coding experience using coding agents and AI-assisted development tools
  • Excellent written communication
  • Ability to read and understand all shipped code, including code you did not personally write
  • Comfort working at a fast pace amid ambiguity
  • Willingness to complete comprehensive background checks covering relevant global sanctions and criminal offences
  • Preferred: experience in government, civic, or other regulated software
  • Preferred: experience with permitting, land management, community development systems, or municipal government operations
  • Preferred: experience with eval-driven development or AI code evaluation harnesses
