Senior LNG Legal Consultant - Singapore Hybrid
Provide legal counsel to a Fortune 500 LNG business across Asia-Pacific. Support energy contracts, trading activities, supply arrangements, and infrastructure projects.
Description
- Support the LNG supply, trading, and infrastructure business across Asia with day-to-day legal advice
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements relating to LNG and energy
- Advise on contractual, commercial, and risk matters arising from LNG trading activities
- Provide legal guidance on LNG supply, sale and purchase, transportation, and related trading arrangements
- Support LNG infrastructure and development projects by reviewing and negotiating project documentation
- Partner with commercial, trading, project, and other stakeholders to identify and manage legal and contractual risks
- Deliver practical legal advice on complex, time-sensitive matters in a trading environment
Requirements
- At least 10 years post-qualification experience, with substantial expertise in commercial transactions, commodities trading, infrastructure, or another LNG-related area
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts
- Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and own matters through completion
- Legal authorization to work
