Senior Java Full-Stack Software Engineer — São Paulo Hybrid

Description
- Lead the design and migration of a legacy ecosystem to a scalable, resilient, highly available platform
- Set standards for clean architecture, microservices, and integration patterns across Java, React, and messaging systems
- Coordinate technical direction with enterprise architecture teams and business units
- Champion DevSecOps practices, including Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, and established design patterns
- Define standards for observability, security, and application performance
- Coach and support junior and mid-level software developers
- Review code and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads operating under the SAFe framework
- Turn complex business requirements into practical, maintainable, high-impact technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Extensive software development and architecture experience within the Java ecosystem
- Advanced understanding of microservices, RESTful API design, and messaging or event-driven patterns using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or comparable technologies
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design and strategies for decomposing or migrating legacy systems, including the Strangler Fig Pattern
- Advanced full-stack capability with practical experience developing frontend applications in React and/or Angular
- Strong command of relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle and MongoDB, including high-scale tuning and data modeling
- Practical experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry
- Background working in large-scale agile organizations that use the SAFe framework
- An MBA or related graduate qualification is advantageous
- Experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence into the software development lifecycle is advantageous
- Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development is advantageous
- Certifications in Java, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or software architecture are advantageous
