- Plan and execute health and safety compliance audits and advisory engagements
- Manage audit preparation, fieldwork, and reporting
- Explain the basis for identified opportunities to site teams
- Review site programs and operations to uncover risks, compliance gaps, and improvement areas
- Write clear, concise, and practical audit findings
- Coach facility staff and business leaders
- Partner with site teams to identify root causes and link findings to workable actions
- Help improve audit tools, processes, consistency, and methodology
- Support initiatives that increase audit effectiveness and stakeholder value
- Work independently without direct reports
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing and overseeing health and safety compliance programs, including energy control and machine guarding
- Practical experience supporting environmental, health, and safety programs in manufacturing settings
- Ability to explain EH&S principles clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Ability to apply current and emerging technologies to analyze data and assess risk trends
- Proven ability to train, coach, or otherwise build capability across an organization
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional international travel
- Proximity to a major airport, preferably in the eastern United States
- Experience or training in health and safety compliance auditing
- Familiarity with safety management systems
- Relevant compliance certification, such as Certified Safety Professional
- Substantial experience with electrical safety, machine guarding, and higher-risk regulatory and industry standards
- Experience auditing and supporting Process Safety Management programs
- Experience using EH&S software and tools for compliance tracking, incident reporting, or audit management
- Ability to complete a drug test when required
