Senior FinOps Consultant - Stuttgart Hybrid
Lead enterprise FinOps strategy and cloud value optimisation for Infosys Consulting clients. Advise technology, finance, and business leaders across major cloud transformation programmes.
Description
- Guide clients in establishing, scaling, and embedding cloud financial management and value optimisation practices
- Serve as a senior advisor to technology, finance, and business stakeholders
- Create enterprise FinOps strategies, operating models, and optimisation roadmaps
- Coordinate across cloud platforms, delivery teams, finance functions, and executive stakeholders
- Embed FinOps as a lasting capability that strengthens financial accountability, engineering efficiency, and continuous optimisation
- Lead enterprise FinOps strategies across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Advise senior leaders on cloud cost governance and value optimisation
- Design and implement FinOps operating models covering chargeback and showback, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for cloud expenditure, efficiency, and business value
- Lead cost optimisation efforts involving rightsizing, rate optimisation, commitment management, and workload efficiency
- Integrate cost-aware practices into architecture, platform, and engineering decisions
- Support large-scale cloud migration and modernisation programmes from a financial and value perspective
- Support proposals, client engagements, and Cloud & Infrastructure offerings
- Contribute to thought leadership and the development of Cloud Economics and FinOps offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Substantial experience in cloud, financial management, technology consulting, or a related field
- Proven experience applying FinOps principles at enterprise scale
- Practical experience managing cloud costs, budgets, forecasts, and optimisation programmes
- Experience working across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the EMEA region
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Highly analytical, structured approach to problem-solving
- Ability to turn complex financial and technical topics into clear, actionable guidance
- Collaborative approach suited to multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working in fast-paced and ambiguous transformation environments
- Strong commitment to quality, integrity, and professional standards
- Experience with commercial FinOps vendors or platforms preferred
- FinOps Foundation Practitioner or Professional certification preferred
- Experience connecting cloud expenditure with business value and investment decisions preferred
- Familiarity with FinOps tooling ecosystems and native cloud cost-management services preferred
- Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments preferred
- Experience with Technology Business Management frameworks preferred
- Experience developing remediation strategies, including automation to prevent, detect, and correct cost inefficiencies and policy breaches preferred
