Senior Family Law Attorney – Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Represent clients in family law litigation, including divorce, custody, and support matters, while managing legal documents, hearings, depositions, and mediations. This full-time hybrid role with Modern Family Law is based in Dallas and includes direct client advocacy and collaborative casework.
Description
- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support cases
- Communicate directly with clients throughout their matters
- Prepare and draft legal documents
- Conduct depositions and participate in court appearances and mediations
- Balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
- Collaborate effectively within a team-based practice
- Complete the required 120 billable hours each month
- Attend court or client meetings in person when required
- Build and strengthen substantive litigation capabilities
- Make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives
Requirements
- At least four years of experience practicing family law
- Family law experience is preferred, though litigation attorneys interested in transitioning to family law are welcome to apply
- Current admission to the Texas State Bar
- Excellent writing and communication abilities, with close attention to detail
- Capacity to manage competing priorities while maintaining a client-centered approach
- Ability to perform the role’s assigned responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
