Senior Executive, Accounts Payable — India (Hybrid)
Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices for an India-based employer. Investigate discrepancies, reconcile aging items, and report payment exceptions.
Description
- Handle purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, including exceptions.
- Monitor invoice reconciliation aging and follow up with requestors and approvers to meet payment terms.
- Investigate discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Address payment queries and provide documentation to support discrepancy resolution.
- Check invoice quality against established procedures.
- Prepare, review, and report duplicate payments and high-value transactions.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance.
- 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Knowledge of purchase orders.
- Knowledge of processing purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
- Ability to manage invoice exceptions.
- Ability to monitor invoice reconciliation aging.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and outstanding items.
- Ability to perform invoice quality checks.
- Ability to prepare, review, and report duplicate payments and high-value transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
