Senior Data Engineer – Teradata, Informatica and Databricks
Design data warehouse solutions for Komerční banka subsidiaries, build Teradata and Informatica integrations, and support migration to Databricks.
Description
- Analyze and design data solutions for subsidiaries’ data warehouses and data domains.
- Develop and maintain data integrations and transformation processes using Teradata and Informatica.
- Engage with subsidiary business teams to gather requirements and propose shared solutions.
- Support testing, data validation, and migration work for the new Databricks platform.
- Use Git to manage source code and contribute to release processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Work with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to design and implement data solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
- Practical experience with Teradata and Informatica, plus advanced SQL skills.
- Experience analyzing business and data requirements.
- Hands-on experience using Git.
- Basic to advanced knowledge of the Databricks platform.
- Ability to communicate with business users and translate their needs into technical solutions.
- Experience testing data solutions and supporting migrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, independence, and the ability to understand relationships across systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile team.
- Czech and technical English communication skills.
