Senior Bookkeeper and Accountant
Manage accounting, tax, payroll, and financial reporting for clients of a boutique accounting firm.
Description
- Manage monthly accounting for multiple clients
- Prepare personal, company, and provisional tax
- Organise financial records and supporting documentation
- Support month-end close and prepare financial reports
- Track receivables and payables to support timely collections and payments
- Support VAT/GST calculations, submissions, and compliance where applicable
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
- Support provisional tax calculations and submissions
- Process payroll, depending on experience
- Prepare year-end journals and financial statements
Requirements
- An accounting qualification is an advantage
- At least eight years of proven bookkeeping experience is required
- Strong working knowledge of SAGE and PASTEL is required
