Description
- Build backend services and microservices for cybersecurity products
- Create REST APIs and event-driven interfaces linking SIEM, SOAR, AI/ML, and external platforms
- Connect SIEM systems by handling security-event ingestion, parsing, normalization, enrichment, and incident interfaces
- Integrate SOAR capabilities covering incidents, cases, playbooks, response workflows, and enforcement connectors
- Deliver the Cyber Incident Package (CIP) interface across security analytics and response domains
- Build response and enforcement APIs for network, IAM, security, and platform controls
- Develop services for incident management, response orchestration, execution tracking, and response validation
- Bring AI/ML analytical results into operational security workflows
- Apply secure service-to-service communication with authentication, authorization, and auditing
- Create connectors and adapters for diverse cybersecurity and infrastructure environments
- Support architecture design, API specifications, data modeling, automated and integration testing, and technical documentation
- Work with cybersecurity and AI/ML engineers, system architects, and European project partners
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline
- At least four years of professional Java and Spring Boot development experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, or both
- Experience using Docker in Linux environments
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, PKI, and certificate-based security
- Understanding of security events, alerts, incidents, logs, network security, and access control
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, IDS/IPS/NDR, threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK, IAM, firewall, network-management or endpoint-security APIs, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CI/CD, AI/ML integration, or Defence/C4ISR, mission-critical, or EU research projects is a strong advantage
