Description
- Qualify opportunities, lead discovery, and develop solutions for AWS modernization engagements.
- Run customer workshops covering application modernization, platform transformation, and cloud-native architecture.
- Turn business needs into modernization roadmaps, architecture plans, and practical consulting services.
- Prepare proposals, project estimates, and Statements of Work.
- Build strong customer and partner relationships and coordinate with internal teams.
- Design and deliver architectures using containers, serverless, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality work that meets customer requirements.
- Produce and maintain architecture, design, and project records.
- Help customers move into operations through knowledge sharing and proven practices.
- Keep skills current by tracking emerging technologies, industry trends, and effective practices.
- Work with internal specialists and teams across functions.
- Build detailed knowledge of the services and solutions provided by the EMEA Unified Services Centre.
- Direct complex projects, establish technical direction, and support colleagues through mentoring.
Requirements
- Bring at least five years of experience in technical consulting.
- Have worked across the project lifecycle, from pre-sales and design through implementation and handover.
- Communicate and present confidently in German and English.
- Show strong interpersonal skills, persuasion, and professional conduct.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Provide technical leadership on complex modernization initiatives.
- Focus on customers and build lasting working relationships.
- Know AWS modernization in depth, including cloud-native design, automation, observability, and optimization.
